Often seen as a very tricky topic at GCSE, in this lesson we break down how to understand the menstrual cycle and the hormones involved in it. We look at the major sex hormones and how they cause secondary sex characteristics before first looking at the male reproductive system and testosterone. We then look at the hormones in control of the menstrual cycle and how they work to controls the different events that take place in the menstrual cycle.
