In this video, learn about the endocrine system. We look at all the different glands in the body you need to know for GCSE including where they are located, their function and the hormones they secrete. We compare the hormonal and nervous systems and then look at certain glands in detail. We explain the pituitary gland as the master gland and look at its secretion of TSH. We then look at adrenaline before finishing with the role of thyroxine and how it is involved in a negative feedback mechanism.
