In this video we learn about the three major plant hormones: auxin, gibberellin and ethene. First we look at auxin and the role it plays in phototropisms and gravitropism and the different effects in has in the shoots and roots. We then look at the normal roles of gibberellin and ethene within a plant. Finally, we learn uses of each hormone in agriculture and horticulture. The workbook has detailed pages on the roles of auxin and the uses of each hormone. As always we finish we some past paper practise where I explain how to squeeze as many marks out of your exam questions as possible!
