In the first part of this lesson, learn what is meant by the term variation and how most characteristics are the result of both genetic and environmental variation. We then look evolution, starting with the work of Lamarck before moving onto the work of Charles Darwin and his expedition to the Galapagos Islands. We look at the process of Evolution by Natural Selection and use several different examples and practise questions to understand the process. As always, the workbook is full of activities and we do some practise questions togethers to show you how to squeeze as many marks out of the questions as possible!
