In this lesson we will use the Cormoran Strike series to explore the evaluation and language and structure questions from the Edexcel GCSE in English Language. In the first part of the lesson we will watch a short video and practice the skills we need for evaluation. We will then annotate an extract together and practice the language and structure question. This lesson pays particular attention to the structure part of the question as this is an area many learners struggle with. This lesson is scaffolded for a range of learners; whether you are getting to grips with the curriculum for the first time or preparing for you exam.
