Content creator hub
As a platform, we do not specify what you teach in your lessons, how often you should upload content or the teaching approaches you wish to use. These are down to you – and what you think will work best for the students you teach.
However, there are a few guidelines that we would ask you to adhere to, in order to ensure that all students get value for money on the MVT platform:
- lessons should be focused around replicating the experience of a private tutor, including high quality instruction, work which matches the instructional video and optional marking and feedback
- there must be a video which clearly identifies the skills, questions or tasks the tutor is explaining. All text and images should be visible and not blurry
- the workbook (which appears on the right hand side of every video) should be at least 2 pages long with tasks which match the sequence of teaching within the video (this is set within the timings you specify when you upload content)
- workbook choice should match the subject
- all audio instruction should be clearly recorded without excessive background noise, echoes or distortion
- tutors have the option of including additional free and premium resources which are separate to their workbook content. These could include additional worksheets, exemplar answers, revision guides or similar. They will appear beneath the video and will clearly indicate whether they are free or paid for
- your content should be tagged and described appropriately, including being placed in the appropriate categories and identified in terms of what exam boards the content relates to
To avoid problems while uploading a video, ensure that you have disabled any antivirus, adblocker, or VPN software.
